Chief Executive Officer - Mana Group, LLC              Sept. 2020 - Present

Support clients with business development strategy, partnership identification and coordination, and implementation of short to long-term goals. Connect critical stakeholders to advance a goal along a pathof efficiency and progress. Analysis of market trends, develop and pitch vision, and coordinate the investment of client time and resources to develop goals. Areas of expertise in wind, solar, storage, microgrids, geothermal, distributed energy resources, and electric vehicles.

Director of New Market Development - Solar Energy Tradeshows

Initiated and directed strategy to drive growth by expanding into new vertical markets related to renewable energy. Built market position by researching, developing, defining, negotiating and closing business relationships. Grew strategic collaborations. Managed wind and electric vehicle business. Identified, designed and executed new market opportunities. Managed marketing and sales support team interaction with new markets. Established and nurtured relationships with market leaders. Consulting Director - American Wind Energy Association

Founding Director, managed programs to grow the U.S. distributed wind market by developing strategies to establish supportive federal and state policy environments while providing a unified voice for all members of the industry. Brokered the succession of a sector of the wind industry from the existing national trade to create its own advocacy voice. Created and administered all aspects of the organization’s management, including budgeting and financial management, communications and political strategy. Built and managed annual operating programs for membership recruitment and retention, conferences, lobbying, and other association activities. Founded annual national conference
and industry lobby day including content and strategy. Inaugurated online newsletters and alerts for campaigns, social media outlets, and introduced website as an authoritative knowledge resource about the industry. Established strategy for all branding efforts including publicity, marketing and promotion, and communication campaigns. Led all fundraising efforts, including obtaining and managing grants. Managed the organization’s staff and consultants. Managed grant funded projects with interagency involvement. Interfaced with the Department of Energy and other federal agencies.

Managed all marketing and business development efforts. Represented the company with current and potential clients. Attended conferences and meetings for client acquisition. Established and managed prospective client list. Developed presentations for Principals and supervised the redesign of website. Project management and proposal writing.

Government Affairs - Southwest Windpower

Initiated and directed all government relations in Washington, DC and in 10 target states. Developed and managed strategy for the inclusion of residential wind incentives in state and federal policy, including the successful passing of the Small Wind Investment Tax Credit. Met with policymakers, stakeholders and advocates to build support for campaigns. Worked with federal legislative members to gain support for policy initiatives. Provided continuous outreach to advocates of renewable energy such as non-profits, trade associations, tribes, private business owners, foundations and governments to
build support for residential wind. Created and managed department budget. Hired and oversaw consultants and interns. Reported to the company’s Board of Directors monthly. Wrote, won, and project managed three Department of Energy grants.
